Retro Blocky Fonts are great for posters or projects with big typography. They also look stunning when made into 3D like in PSDTUTS cool tutorial Design Soft Stylized 3D Type . There seem to be more and more 3D Typography tutorials emerging so i thought i would search the web and put together a list of all the 3D Blocky Fonts I could find. Some of the fonts are free but unfortunately others aren’t but thats ok.

Blocky fonts are excellent. Gotta love them.
These blocky fonts definitely take me back! These would be great for a one-off design, maybe for an ad, but I’d stay far away for the rest of my marketing materials. These fonts wouldn’t work across all media, but that’s okay because they probably weren’t designed to. Thanks for sharing.

Looking at these, I have a strange need to break out a gold chain, silk shirt, and polyester bell-bottom pants. Why is that? Just kidding. I’ll probably add these to my font collection for those clients that throw theme parties.
Retro Blocky Fonts sure have there place in the design process. You have to know how to use these fonts to make them effective.
